Obesity has become a big problem of the 21st century. The reason is very obvious. Science has progressed immensely and that is why we have become very dependant on machines. This is the reason for our physical inactivity and this in turn leads to obesity. The other reason of obesity is fast food. Today we no longer have joint families but only nuclear families. These nuclear families mostly have both the spouses working and so activities like cooking take a backseat in the family. This results in regular home delivery of food. Besides when a person spends the whole day at work he/she becomes dependable on the fast food available outside the home. Fast foods are definitely bad for health and needs to be avoided.
